Reading The Comparison
Series, Fighter Type, Age Stage, and Coverage compare against today's answer using one small icon: a check for a match, an “≈” for a partial/close match, or an × for no match at all — color reinforces the same read (green/amber/red family) but the icon is what actually carries the information. Each guess is one card, with the icons lined up under the shared column header above the list, so what each one means stays visible without repeating text on every card.
Fighter Type / CoverageCheck means a full match. ≈ means partial overlap (both fields can hold more than one value). × means no overlap at all.
SeriesNot just a flat match/miss — series closeness runs on a smooth 0-100 gradient from green (exact series) through orange and yellow down to red (genuinely unrelated series), based on shared genre/tone and franchise ties. Check appears near-exact, × appears cold, and ≈ covers the whole warm middle of that gradient.
Age StageCheck or × only, never ≈. It reads more like an origin tag than a timeline, so there's no partial state and no higher/lower direction here.
StatsAn up arrow means today's answer is higher in that stat, a down arrow means it's lower, and a check mark means you matched it exactly. Stats always show the actual number.
